took a trip to kelowna

I took a trip to Kelowna and this is what happened.

First, I got up at 3:45 am so I could sit on a bus for four hours.

Then, I got to reunite with Jared for a few hours and sit with him in the backseat of Tracy's car.

Tracy actually let me take a photo of her. OMG WHAT HAS KELOWNA DONE??????
I kid. *waves to Tracy*

After a long day of beaches (*shakes fist at Pat for deleting a good beach photo*) we had supper at BP's and Alec joined us.

Then, I sat on a bus for four more hours in the dark.

Life has been slow--just work, just writing, just hanging out and minding my own business. I'm excited for life to move again... to meet new and interesting people (who have, actually, been popping up in Revelstoke from time to time--grad students are my friends), to go out to new places and do new things. Ahh, life as an idealistic student--do I ever have to give this up?
